Key Duties:
The key duties for this role include:
- Managing and developing the IT Team.
- Managing relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
- Monitoring and reporting on IT objectives, raising concerns timely, and proposing strategic solutions.
- Ensuring data security, network access, and backup systems.
- Supervising daily operations of network server infrastructure.
- Aligning the IT Strategy with the current Business Strategy.
- Overseeing and contributing to project management activities related to IT initiatives.
- Planning, organizing, controlling, and evaluating IT and electronic data operations.
- Designing, developing, implementing, and coordinating systems, policies, and procedures.
- Managing the ticketing system and preserving assets, information security, and control structures.
- Assessing and purchasing new and replacement hardware.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws in all IT activities.
- Communicating key information to stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement within IT operations.
Essential Criteria:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Hold a Third Level qualification in Computer Science.
- Have a minimum of 5 years proven experience in IT Management.
- Possess excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems.
- Have hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Be able to work toward tight schedules and deadlines with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Hold a full driving license and have access to own transport.
- Be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Be highly motivated with a positive attitude towards change.
