Key Duties:

The key duties for this role include:

• Managing and developing the IT Team.
• Managing relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
• Monitoring and reporting on IT objectives, raising concerns timely, and proposing strategic solutions.
• Ensuring data security, network access, and backup systems.
• Supervising daily operations of network server infrastructure.
• Aligning the IT Strategy with the current Business Strategy.
• Overseeing and contributing to project management activities related to IT initiatives.
• Planning, organizing, controlling, and evaluating IT and electronic data operations.
• Designing, developing, implementing, and coordinating systems, policies, and procedures.
• Managing the ticketing system and preserving assets, information security, and control structures.
• Assessing and purchasing new and replacement hardware.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws in all IT activities.
• Communicating key information to stakeholders.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement within IT operations.

Essential Criteria:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Third Level qualification in Computer Science.
• Have a minimum of 5 years proven experience in IT Management.
• Possess excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems.
• Have hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Be able to work toward tight schedules and deadlines with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Hold a full driving license and have access to own transport.
• Be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Be highly motivated with a positive attitude towards change.
